Receiving Calls

When your Salpre Box is connected and your AI agent is active, you can receive inbound calls directly into the Dashboard. The Calls screen lets you monitor live conversations, read transcripts in real time, and manage call sessions.


Receiving an Inbound Call

  1. Incoming Call Notification
    • When a customer calls your number connected via Salpre Box, the call appears instantly on the Calls screen.
    • You’ll see the caller’s phone number displayed at the top.
  2. Live Call Panel
    • In the center, the active call panel shows:
      • Caller number
      • Call duration (in seconds)
      • Status (e.g., initiated, in progress, ended)
      • A hang-up button (Click to hangup)
  3. Transcript Viewer
    • On the right side, you can see the live transcript of the call.
    • The transcript is split into:
      • Customer messages (in blue)
      • Agent responses (in green)
      • System events (e.g., Call Status: ended)
  4. Call History Sidebar
    • On the far-right, you’ll see a list of previous calls, each showing:
      • Call ID
      • Caller’s phone number
      • Call status (ended)
      • Timestamp of when the call started

Managing an Active Call

  • Hang Up
    • You can end the call at any time by clicking the hang-up button.
  • View Call Status
    • The system updates the status in real time (initiated, connected, ended).
  • Monitor Transcripts
    • Follow along with the transcript to understand what the AI and the customer are saying.
  • After the Call
    • The transcript is stored and can be retrieved later via the Transcript API.
